PortAventura World is an entertainment resort in Salou and Vila-seca, Tarragona, on the Costa Daurada in Catalonia, Spain. It was built around the PortAventura Park theme park, which attracts around 3.5 million visitors per year, making it the most visited theme park in Spain and the sixth most visited theme park in Europe.[4] The resort includes a second theme park, Ferrari Land, since 2017 and also includes PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park, six hotels, a convention centre and an RV park. It is the biggest resort in the south of Europe which attracts around five million visitors per year. Reus Airport lies within 15 minutes driving distance and Barcelona Airport within one hour.[5] The train station Salou – Port Aventura is 750m from the resort entrance, and is served by line R17 trains to Barcelona and Tarragona.

PortAventura World est un complexe de loisirs espagnol de 1,19 km2 (119 ha)a situé sur les communes de Vila-seca et Salou, dans la province de Tarragone, sur la Costa Daurada. Le resort comprend trois parcs de loisirs – PortAventura Park, PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park et Ferrari Land – ainsi que six hôtels et trois parcours de golfs. Un septième hôtel se situe hors du domaine.
Le complexe est la propriété du fonds d’investissement italien Investindustrial qui détient 50,1 % des actions et du fonds américain KKR qui en détient 49,9 %. La banque espagnole La Caixa contrôle les terrains de golf et le Beach Club dénommés Lumine.
En 2019, le chiffre d’affaires s’élève à 241,521 millions d’euros, soit une augmentation par rapport à 2018 et ses 230,349 millions. Avec 203,055 millions d’euros en 2016, c’était la première fois qu’il dépassait les 200 millions d’euros.
