Europa-Park is a theme park in Rust, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Covering a total area of 95 hectares, eighteen themed areas offer around one hundred rides, several shows, and thirteen roller coasters, the park includes six hotels, a camping site, a tepee village, a cinema and a conference center.
According to the AECOM Theme Index 2020, Europa-Park is ranked 19th out of the 25 most visited theme parks in the world and is the third most visited theme park in Europe after Disneyland Paris and Efteling, as well as the most visited seasonal theme park in the world.
The park received 5.4 million visitors in 2022. Alongside Rulantica, the resort had over six million visitors. Also that year, the Golden Ticket Award jury of the US magazine Amusement Today voted Europa-Park the “best theme park in the world” for the eighth year in a row.

Laut AECOM-Theme-Index 2022 ist der Europa-Park auf Platz 19 der 25 besucherstärksten Freizeitparks der Welt. Der Freizeitpark ist mit 5,4 Millionen Gästen nach dem Disneyland Paris und Efteling der drittbesucherstärkste Freizeitpark Europas sowie der besucherstärkste saisonale Freizeitpark der Welt. Zusammen mit dem Wasserpark Rulantica hatte das Resort eine Gesamtbesucheranzahl von 6 Millionen. Die „Golden Ticket Award“-Jury der US-Zeitschrift Amusement Today wählte den Europa-Park im September 2022 zum achten Mal in Folge zum besten Freizeitpark der Welt.
Auf einer Gesamtfläche von rund 950.000 m² werden in 18 Themenbereichen über 100 Fahrgeschäfte und mehrere Shows geboten. Zum Park gehören sechs Hotels, ein Campingplatz, ein Tipi-Dorf, ein Kino und ein Konferenzzentrum.
Europa-Park est un parc d’attractions à thèmes et un complexe de loisirs situé à Rust dans l’eurodistrict de Strasbourg Ortenau en Allemagne, à égale distance des villes de Fribourg-en-Brisgau et Strasbourg. Fondé par la famille Mack (détentrice de l’entreprise Mack Rides), il a été inauguré le 12 juillet 1975.
Le parc comporte 59 attractions et dispose d’un complexe hôtelier avec un total de 5 800 lits ; il s’agit du plus grand parc à thèmes et complexe hôtelier d’Allemagne. Le parc aquatique Rulantica complète le resort depuis son ouverture fin 2019.
Avec 3 millions d’entrées en 2021 et 2,5 millions d’entrées en 2020, année de la pandémie de Covid, Europa-Park se place en 3e position des parcs d’attractions les plus visités en Europe, derrière le parc Disneyland et Efteling, qui se positionne en tête en 2020. Avec 5,7 millions d’entrées en 2019, il se place alors en 2e position derrière le parc Disneyland.
Il est élu de 2014 à 2022 meilleur parc de loisirs du monde par le magazine américain de référence Amusement Today. Il est l’un des parcs à thème d’Europe à avoir été distingué par un Thea Classic Awards, décerné par la Themed Entertainment Association.
